Dining at The Retreat Castle Hotel

Dining at The Retreat Castle is one of a relaxed and casual affair. We welcome families and have a wide variety of dishes to suit every taste bud - whether it is to fill yourself up with our hearty Steak and Ale Pie, a quick soup and sandwich, or a three course meal washed down with our wide selection of wines or beers.

We have three areas for you to relax in, our bar and restaurant areas are open to all from 8 am for breakfast and serving lunch from 12 daily until late. In the summer time you can dine alfresco in our courtyard or beer gardens with the children's play area a good distraction!

We have folk bands, story telling, and other entertainment on a regular basis. Sunday is a popular day to taste our delicious Roast with a free glass of wine!
